The Metals Studio provides
both beginning and advanced students with an ideal setting for learning,
expanding, and perfecting the skills and techniques involved with designing
and creating art in both ferrous and nonferrous metals. Our instructors
bring many years of experience and training to assist students of all
levels. Decorative and functional objects can be crafted – from vessels,
boxes, flatware, knives, and serving pieces – to bracelets, rings, pendants,
chains, and brooches. Both beginning students and professionals seeking to
advance their level of craft will find guidance and inspiration at The Craft
Guild of Dallas.
Students will learn how to
safely operate all equipment relating to their interests, and need only
provide their own consumable supplies, such as metals and stones, saw
blades, flex shaft attachments, and personal hand tools.
