WORKSHOPS
PLEIN AIR WORKSHOPS
Plein air painting, simply put, is painting outdoors. The idea is to define
a scene on a small canvas (usually 12” x 16” or smaller), capture the mood
of the atmosphere, and boldly paint what you see without a lot of detail.
The painting style is your impression of the scene; which is how the
impressionist movement started. Each workshop will focus on a particular
subject of the landscape. All painting locations will be in Dallas.
