
Diggin Dinosaurs - If your child has a passion for the prehistoric let them join us for a week of fun dinosaur themed projects. Make a clay dinosaur egg that opens to reveal a baby dinosaur, a fossil casting and a painting of the land before time.
Far Out Fun - Mysteries of the solar system and fun fantasy sci-fi will be explored and illustrated in this week long class. We will learn about such phenomena as black holes, comets and constellations. Build an alien space craft out of clay, a constellation viewer and more out of this world project.
Purr-Fect Pets -Our canine and feline friends will be our inspiration for a variety of projects this week. Paint a pet portrait and make a personalized feeding bowl out of clay along with other creations to pamper and honor these treasured family members.
"Just So" Animal Stories - This week we will be exploring some of the wondrous tales of Rudyard Kipling's Just So animal stories about how certain animals came to have their unique characteristics. We will use the stories as inspiration for projects based on some of the animals such as the leopard, the camel and the elephant using a variety of media from clay to paint.
How Does Your Garden Grow? - Join us for a week of making outdoor art for the yard or garden. We will make a variety of creations both functional and decorative to till your outdoor space.
What's Bugging You? - Get to know more about the incredible insects that live all around us. We will make fun, cute and colorful projects using butterflies, ladybugs, bees and other "bugs" as inspiration. Projects include bug shaped clay dishes, a faux bug collection and a bug tie-dyed t-shirt. We are going to go buggy over bugs!

Throwing on the Wheel - Throw it like you mean it! Learn to use a potter's wheel -- no previous experience required. Each week of classes will cover the basics or creating ceramic forms on the wheel, and more experienced students will continue to hone their skills. Instruction will include learning to trim pots and to use decorating techniques to personalize work.
Hand Building - Student will explore the various hand building techniques used in clay work to create fun, imaginative projects and pots. Instruction will be given in pinch-forming, sculpting, coil and slab construction methods. work produced may be functional and/or sculptural, and students will decorate their own pieces with colors and designs of their own choice. Finished pieces will then be glazed and fired by the instructor after the end of the camp session.
Rock-N-Rhythm - We will give common everyday materials new lives as musical or rhythm instruments that shake, rattle, whistle and more. Projects will include a clay whistle and rain stick and pan pipes out of bamboo.
Pet-O-Rama - Join us for a dog-gone good time this week as we make a variety of fun, original pet themed projects! Our favorite pets will provide inspiration for such creations as clay dog or cat banks, dog or cat portraits, refrigerator magnets and painted note cards.
Horsing Around - All kids love horses! Using the allure and appeal of this beautiful, noble animal, we will create unusual and fun horse-themed art and decor. Some examples of projects include sculpted clay horse head bookends, a decorative lucky horseshoe and a batik wall banner. We'll have a galloping good time!
Fabulous Fiber Plus - In this camp we will explore various methods of working with fibers as one of the main components of our artworks. Other materials, such as clay, paper, beads and dye will be combined with the fiber to construct original creations. Examples of projects are making a clay frame with woven fiber wall piece, a felted journal and a macrame' project.
What a Breeze! -Enjoy the sights and sounds that the wind can produce with these fun craft projects. During this camp we will make unique, colorful creations for the house and garden. Using a variety of media we will create windsocks, wind chimes whirl-a-gigs and kites.

Paper, Cards, Bags and Boxes - In this camp, we will explore various techniques for making and/or embellishing paper--such as marbling, stamping, collaging and distressing. Projects will include making lovely, decorated boxes, colorful coiled paper baskets, hand painted watercolor note cards and artist trading cards.
Fantastic Funky Finds Jewelry - Design and create original, handcrafted jewelry and accessories using unusual, unexpected or recycled materials. Projects may include making a bracelet out of soda pop pull tabs, wire wrap jewelry, polymer clay creations and imaginative use of paper.
Your Place, Your Space - Personalize your bedroom or other special place with original, unique decor that gives both a sense of style and a sense of self. Projects may include making a ceramic nightstand lamp with had decorated shade, a batik pillow case and a mosaic framed mirror. turn your room into an "Abode a la Mode"!
*Students should wear old clothing and footwear, as many materials we will use will not wash out. NO FLIP-FLOPS! Each camp will take a 15 minute break so please provide your child with a small snack and drink each day. Please read all registration and refund policies carefully before you register.
